![]() It’s a weekend of stuff to do in Pott. Co! Woohoo! Friday night, you can get your game on! The Oakland-Riverside Golf Course is offering a co-ed 2-ball tournament! You can still get in! Thinking more about food than exercise? The Treynor Farmers Market is happening from 5pm to 8pm. I hear there’s some pretty yummy stuff! Support local! And speaking of food, Prairie Crossing Winery at Treynor will be hosting their Table to Farm night from 7 to 10pm. If you haven’t tried this out, get it on your list! (You do need to call ahead for reservations) Your other option is to get to Breezy Hills Vineyard at Minden for their Wings and Wine-a-ritas Night featuring Jules & Joe starting at 6pm. It’s a Friday night tradition! Saturday brings another busy day! Start the day off with the Macedonia Farmers Market from 9am to 11. Then you can head to Oakland for the Pottawattamie County Recycling Center Open House. It runs from 9 to noon and you can get all your papers shredded for FREE! Plus, check the place out. I am so in love with the Swap Shop and it is very under-utilized! A definite hidden gem of Pott. Co! End your Saturday the right way – with prime rib! Yes, that’s right, my friends, it’s Prime Rib Night at Silos in Treynor. It’s always on the second Saturday night of the month. And a total score for you! Sunday is the annual City-Wide Golf Tournament at the Oakland-Riverside Golf Course starting at 8am. If that doesn’t apply to you, don’t worry. You can head over to Keasts’ Daylily Gardens instead! From 9am to 2pm, you can do tours there. The daylilies are in bloom for 3 weeks in July and now is the time to see them for free! Want to know more? Check out my blog about it here. And as you kick out of the weekend into a fresh new week, don’t forget Underwood’s Monday Market! They have fresh produce and homemade goodies worth the stop! It runs Monday evening from 6 to 7:30pm. Things are picking up, my friends! So get out, support local, and keep the faith!
